Website Care Plan
Website Maintenance Malaysia
A website is not finished at launch. Plugins need updating, backups need checking, and the small changes keep coming. The Website Care Plan handles all of it every month, so the site never becomes the thing that embarrasses your business.
What goes wrong without maintenance
WordPress powers a large share of the web, which makes outdated plugins the most common way a small business website gets hacked. A site that is not updated also slows down over time, breaks when hosting changes, and loses the small details that make customers trust it: an expired certificate, a contact form that stopped sending, a page that no longer loads on phones.
What the Care Plan covers each month
- WordPress core, theme and plugin updates, tested on a copy of the site before they go live
- Daily off-site backups and one-click restore when something breaks
- Uptime and security monitoring, with malware clean-up included if the worst happens
- A speed and Core Web Vitals check, with fixes for anything that regressed
- Two hours of content changes: new photos, a price update, a new page section
- A short monthly note on what was done and anything you should know
What website maintenance costs in Malaysia
The Care Plan is RM250 a month for a business website, billed monthly and cancellable monthly. Online stores and larger sites are quoted after a health check because they carry more plugins and more risk. Hosting is separate, at cost, or you keep your current provider. Compared with the RM2,000 to RM5,000 a hacked site typically costs to clean, rebuild and explain to customers, the plan is the cheaper way to sleep.
Who it is for
Any WordPress website that must stay online, updated and secure without you thinking about it. Websites I built come with 90 days of free support and then move onto the plan; websites built by someone else start with a one-off health check so I know what I am looking after.

Questions
Questions people ask first
Do you maintain websites you did not build?
Yes, after a one-off health check of the site, the hosting and the plugins in use. The check is quoted separately and tells both of us what state the site is in.
What happens if the site is hacked?
Malware clean-up is included in the plan. The site is restored from the latest clean backup, the entry point is closed and the passwords are rotated.
Is hosting included?
Hosting is billed separately at cost, or you keep your current provider. Managed WordPress hosting can be arranged if you want one invoice for everything.
Can I cancel?
Yes, monthly. The backups and the site remain yours.
